Design is a man

Every major car brand has an accessories segment designed with its customers and fans in mind. But probably only Porsche has made it a business based on design of the highest order. 

Sophisticated, luxurious and technically second to none. Meet the Porsche Design brand, which has been seducing the world with its strong, masculine character for more than 50 years.

There is not a car enthusiast in the world who would not be familiar with the Porsche brand, especially the legendary "nine hundred and eleven". The Porsche 911, the German brand\'s flagship model, has been in production since 1964 and has become a sports style icon over the past few decades - not only thanks to its performance on the track.

Over half a century of history

The car\'s original design can be traced back to Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, who in the late 1950s created the first sketches of the car still known today. It has since been significantly modernised, both technically and in design.

Today, the Porsche 911 is a motoring legend, an object of desire and fascination and one of the oldest sports cars that still does not come off the production line. Many vintage and sports models of the brand can be seen in the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen (Stuttgart), which presents its exhibits to the whole world by transporting them to famous motorsport events. At the Porscheplatz by the Porsche Museum, you can also see the Porsche 911, but in an unusual - artistic - presentation. Two years ago, it was the venue for a spectacular presentation of the sculpture \'Inspiration 911\' by British artist Gerry Judah. He created a 24-metre-high monument of three columns topped by Porsche 911 cars. Each is a gleaming white model representing a different part of the German brand\'s history. The sculpture has become a permanent attraction at Porscheplatz, paying tribute to the company\'s tradition and long history.
