System KAN-therm Groove offers both typical fittings used to change the route or diameter of pipelines, as well as clamps to connect the fittings with the pipes and pipe sections.

Thanks to the use of top-quality ductile cast iron, they are characterised by high resistance to temperature and operating pressure. Depending on the needs of a particular investment, clamps are available in different designs:

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) mix is considered as the most water-resistant and available elastomer nowadays. It is suitable for applications such as cold and hot water up to 110 °C, waste water, mixture of water and acid, deionised water and sea water. EPDM mix is not suitable for use with petroleum based fuels and oils, hydrocarbon solvents and aromatic hydrocarbons.

NBR, BUNA-N and nitrile – all of them represent the same copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile (ACN), which is naturally resistant to hydraulic fluids, lubricants, gear oils and other non-polar compounds based on petroleum and water at a temperature not exceeding 65 °C. NBR shows poor resistance to hot water and steam.
