The KAN SET software has received a significant update — it now supports a dedicated module for designing surface heating and cooling systems using KAN-therm WALL panels.
This enhancement opens up new possibilities for creating wall- and ceiling-mounted heating and cooling systems in dry construction — quickly, accurately, and professionally.
What Makes the KAN-therm WALL System Unique?
At the core of the system are gypsum-fiber panels with milled channels that house the pipes:
• PB or PE-RT pipes with a diameter of 8×1 mm,
• available in several configurations with different pipe spacing options.
This construction ensures high thermal efficiency and exceptional design flexibility: the panels can be adapted even to complex shapes and architectural features of the walls.
Inactive areas can be covered with standard gypsum-fiber panels from the KAN-therm Wall range, creating a smooth, clean, and aesthetically consistent surface.
Flexible Design Schemes in KAN SET
The updated KAN SET modules allow you to implement various system configurations:
1. Direct connection
Panels are connected directly to the surface heating manifold.
2. Tichelmann loop — the ability to combine several panels into a single circuit:
• one circuit connected to the manifold can include panels with a combined nominal output of up to 1200 W;
• it is recommended to combine panels with similar pipe lengths (difference ≤10%);
• in series connection, the maximum pipe length for Ø8 mm pipes is 40 m.
Two Visualization Modes — Full Control Over Your Design
KAN SET offers two panel visualization modes:
1. Detailed wall view
Allows precise placement of panels and easy navigation around windows, doors, and other openings.
2. Simplified view
Designed for quick conceptual layout during the early design stages.
